Subject to paragraph (2) and to the extent it is not already in force, Part 3 of the Act (nuclear regulation) comes into force on 1st April 2014.

Paragraph (1) does not apply to section 116(1) insofar as it gives effect to paragraph 74 of Schedule 12.
