are amended as follows.

In regulation 3 (interpretation)—

(a)

omit the definition of “additional paternity leave”;

(b)

in the definition of “non-pensionable family leave”—

(i)

after “parental leave, ” insert “shared parental leave or”

(ii)

omit “additional paternity leave”.

(c)

in the definition of “statutory pay”—

(i)

omit paragraph (b);

(ii)

after paragraph (b) insert—(c)

statutory shared parental pay payable in accordance with Part 12ZC of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992;

(d)

at the appropriate place there is inserted—

“shared parental leave” has the meaning given in regulation 3(1) of the Shared Parental Leave Regulations 2014;

In regulation 23 (service not pensionable unless member is entitled to pay), in paragraph (1)(b)—

after “parental leave,” insert “shared parental leave or”;
