The Safety of Sports Grounds (Designation) (No. 2) Order 2015

Coming into force

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1(1) of the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 19751.

In accordance with section 18(4) of that Act, he has consulted with such persons or bodies of persons as appear to him to be requisite.

Title and commencement1

The title of this Order is the Safety of Sports Grounds (Designation) (No. 2) Order 2015 and it comes into force on 3rd August 2015.

Designation2

The Hive Stadium, Camrose Avenue, Edgware, Middlesex, HA8 6AG, being a sports ground—

a

in England and Wales,

b

at which association football matches are played,

c

which is occupied by Barnet Football Club, a member of the Football League Limited, and

d

which in the opinion of the Secretary of State has accommodation for more than 5,000 spectators2,

is designated as a sports ground requiring a safety certificate under the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975.

This Order designates the Hive Stadium in Edgware, Middlesex, which is occupied by Barnet Football Club and others, as a sports ground requiring a safety certificate under the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975.
