Evaluation of pyrotechnic articles presenting a risk56

Where the market surveillance authority has sufficient reason to believe that a pyrotechnic article presents a risk, the market surveillance authority must carry out an evaluation in relation to the pyrotechnic article covering the relevant requirements of Part 2 applying in respect of that pyrotechnic article.

Where an enforcing authority other than the market surveillance authority has sufficient reason to believe that a pyrotechnic article presents a risk, that enforcing authority may carry out an evaluation in relation to the pyrotechnic article covering the relevant requirements of Part 2 applying in respect of that pyrotechnic article.
