Parental responsibility of civil partners

15.—(1) The Children Act 1989(1) is amended as follows.

(2) In section 2(2), in subsections (1), (2) and (3), after “married to” insert “, or civil partners of,”.

(3) In section 4, in subsection (1), in the words before paragraph (a)(3), after “married to” insert “, or civil partners of,”.

(4) In section 105, in subsection (2), after “married to” insert “, or civil partners of,”.
