When granting a primate licence under regulation 7(2)(a), the local authority must—
specify in the licence—
the premises where the primates are to be kept;
the species of the primates, and the number of each species, that the holder of the licence is authorised to keep at the premises;
the period of the licence; and
the period within which an application for renewal of the licence must be made to the local authority; and
attach the licence conditions to the licence.
The period of the licence specified under paragraph (1)(a)(iii) must be—
three years; or
where the applicant has requested a licence for a period of less than three years, such shorter period expiring on the date that the applicant has requested.
