This Order authorises National Highways Company Limited to construct, operate and maintain the A66 (Northern Trans-Pennine) scheme. This is a series of eight schemes along the A66 between M6 Junction 40 Penrith and A1(M) Junction 53 Scotch Corner and associated works.
