The provisions of the Act specified in paragraph (3) of this article shall come into force in relation to Wales on 31st July 2001.

The provisions of the Act specified in paragraph (4) of this article shall come into force in relation to Wales on 1st October 2001.

The provisions are—
a
Section 63 (approval of courses);
b
Section 66 (visitors for certain social work courses);
c
Section 71 (rules) in so far as it applies to sections 63 and 66 of the Act.

The provisions are—
a
Section 67 (functions of the appropriate Minister);
b
Section 70(1) (cessation in relation to Wales of the functions of the Central Council for Education and Training in Social Work).
