(1)This Act may be cited as the Equal Pay Act (Northern Ireland) 1970.
(2)In this Act the expressions “man” and “woman” shall be read as applying to persons of whatever age.
[F1(2A)For the purposes of this Act a woman is under a disability if she is an infant or is of unsound mind (within the meaning of Article 47(2) of the Limitation (Northern Ireland) Order 1989).]
