SCHEDULE 3MINOR AND CONSEQUENTIAL AMENDMENTS
10Anatomy Act 1984 (c. 14)
In section 4(9) of the Anatomy Act 1984 (lawful examination of bodies after death)—
a
the words “, nursing home” are repealed;
b
the words from “a hospital” to “institution”, where it occurs for the first time, become paragraph (a);
c
after that paragraph, there is inserted—
; or
b
accommodation provided by a care home service (as defined by section 2(3) of the Regulation of Care (Scotland) Act 2001 (asp 8)
d
after the word “institution”, where it occurs for the second time, there is inserted “or accommodation”.
