24The police support services: modification by order

The Scottish Ministers may by order modify section 3(2).

Before making an order under subsection (1) the Scottish Ministers must consult—
a
the Authority;
b
persons whom the Scottish Ministers consider represent the interests of chief constables of police forces;
c
persons whom the Scottish Ministers consider represent the interests of police bodies; and
d
such other persons as the Scottish Ministers consider appropriate.
