79Information about release: power to require giving of specified information

Section 96 of the 2003 Act (information about release or transfer) is amended in accordance with subsections (2) and (3).

After subsection (2) there is inserted—

The regulations may make provision requiring the person who is responsible for an offender, in giving notice under the regulations, to provide—
a
any information about the offender, or
b
a photograph of any part of the offender.

In subsection (2A), “photograph” is to be construed in accordance with section 88(2).
