Subsection (2) applies where—
a
two or more persons have a parental right in relation to a child, and
b
by virtue of paragraph (a) or (b) of subsection (1) of section 82, the right vests in one of them or, as the case may be, two or more of them.

Each of the persons mentioned in subsection (1)(a) may exercise the right without the consent of the other or, as the case may be, any of the others.

Subsection (2) does not apply where an order vesting the right, or regulating its exercise, provides otherwise.
