The Companies Act 2006 is amended as follows.

In section 48(3) (execution of documents by companies), after “subscribed” insert “ (or, in the case of an electronic document, authenticated) ”.

In section 49(4)(b), after “subscribed” insert “ or authenticated ”.

In section 1022(6)(b) (protection of persons holding under a lease), for “Land Registration (Scotland) Act 1979 (c.33)” substitute “ Land Registration etc. (Scotland) Act 2012 (asp 5) ”.
