In section 37 of the Pipe-lines Act 1962 (persons to be notified of certain pipe-line accidents)—

(a)

in subsection (1), for paragraph (a) substitute—

“(a)

to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the chief constable of the Police Service for Scotland,”,

(b)

in subsection (2)—

(i)

after “by” (where it occurs in the opening words), insert “the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, the chief constable of the Police Service for Scotland,”,

(ii)

after “furnish” insert “the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, the chief constable of the Police Service for Scotland,”,

(iii)

in paragraph (a), for “a fire and rescue authority or police authority” substitute “the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service or the chief constable of the Police Service for Scotland”.

In section 43(4) of the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994 (consultation on guidance as to exercise of traffic powers)—

(a)

after “consult” insert—

“(a)”, and

(b)

for the words from “and”, where it first occurs, to the end substitute—

“(b)

the chief constable of the Police Service of Scotland,

(c)

the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, and

(d)

the authorities for the areas to which the guidance relates.”.
