Sealing up of ballot papers

On the completion of the counting, the counting officer must seal up in separate packets—

a

the counted ballot papers, and

b

the rejected ballot papers.

The counting officer must not open the sealed packets of—

a

tendered ballot papers,

b

the completed corresponding number lists,

c

the certificates mentioned in rule 15(6), or

d

marked copies of the Polling List (including any marked copy notices issued under section 13B(3B) or (3D) or 13BB(4) of the 1983 Act) and lists of proxies.
