A sheriff may, on the application of a party to any civil proceedings before the sheriff, make—
a
such interim order as the sheriff thinks fit in relation to—
i
the possession of any heritable or movable property to which the proceedings relate,
ii
the subject matter of the proceedings,
b
an interim order ad factum praestandum.

Subsection (1) does not apply in relation to proceedings under the Children's Hearings (Scotland) Act 2011.
