Co-operation in relation to community justice functions
35Duty of co-operation
(1)
Each person or group of persons falling within subsection (2) must so far as reasonably practicable co-operate, in the exercise of their respective functions in relation to community justice, with each other person or group of persons falling within that subsection.
(2)
Those persons are—
(a)
Community Justice Scotland,
(b)
each of the community justice partners,
(c)
the community justice partners for the area of each local authority.
(3)
Such co-operation may include—
(a)
sharing information,
(b)
providing advice and assistance,
(c)
co-ordinating activities (and seeking to prevent unnecessary duplication),
(d)
funding activities together.
(4)
In complying with subsection (1), a person or group of persons must have regard to the desirability of community justice in a particular area being best suited to the needs of that area.
