3. This Act is also listed as public Act c. 19 in Statutes of the Realm (see vol. IV, pt. 2, p. 1153, n. 1), Ruffhead's edition of Statutes at Large and the Chronological Table of the Statutes.[back]

4. Ruffhead's edition of Statutes at Large attributes one private Act to the session 18 Ja. 1 (1620), An Act containing the censure given in Parliament against Sir Giles Mompesson, Sir Francis Mitchell, Francis Viscount St. Alban, Lord Chancellor of England, and Edward Flood. This "Act" is noted in Statutes of the Realm (vol. IV, pt. 2, p. 1208), it is entered on the Parliament Roll at the Public Record Office but it is not preserved in Parliament itself. It is, in effect, a judgement of the House of Lords which the Lords' sub-committee for privileges ordered to be entered with the other statutes (Journals of the House of Lords, vol. III, p. 135). The "Act" is not included in this table because it was not created by the legislative process in Parliament.[back]
