Special powers during transitional period. N.I.

3 (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, the Commission may at its discretion, [F2 during the period mentioned in sub-paragraph (2)], control, manage and deal with the fishing in that part of the tidal waters of the Foyle Area vested in the Ministry and the Minister which lies between an imaginary straight line drawn across the River Foyle to join the points where the southernmost boundary of the county of Londonderry meets the river on each side and the defined mouth of the river.

[F3 (2) The period referred to in sub-paragraph (1) is the period beginning on the establishment date and ending on such date as the Department and the Minister may jointly direct.]
