Article 10 U.K.

Member States shall ensure that:

1.

the measures provided for in Article 9 (1) apply in the surveillance zone. However, if the surveillance zone has no slaughterhouse, the equidae may be slaughtered in the protection zone in a slaughterhouse designated by the competent authority;

2.

all vaccination against African horse sickness is prohibited in the surveillance zone.
