Article 1U.K.Scope
This Regulation establishes:
[X1common rules on direct payments] under income support schemes in the framework of the common agricultural policy which are financed by the ‘Guarantee’ Section of the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund [X1(EAGGF) listed in Annex I, except those provided for under Regulation (EC) No 1257/1999];
an income support for farmers (hereinafter referred to as the ‘single payment scheme’);
[F1support schemes for farmers producing durum wheat, protein crops, rice, nuts, energy crops, starch potatoes, milk, seeds, arable crops, sheep meat and goat meat, beef and veal, grain legumes, cotton, tobacco, hops, as well as for farmers maintaining olive groves.]
