In the case of a HPAI outbreak on the third country’s territory, imports of such meat may still continue to be authorised, provided that it is obtained from ratites coming from a registered closed ratite holding free of LPAI and HPAI; and where within a radius of 100 km around that holding, including, where applicable, the territory of a neighbouring country, there has been no outbreak of LPAI or HPAI for at least the last 24 months and where there has been no epidemiological link to a ratite or poultry holding where LPAI or HPAI has been present within at least the last 24 months.]
