1.Objectives and scopeU.K.
1.1.This Annex lays down the list of the regulatory acts for which an in-house technical service of a manufacturer may be designated as a technical service in accordance with Article 72(1).U.K.
1.2.It also includes appropriate provisions concerning the designation of an in-house technical service of a manufacturer as technical service, to be applied in the framework of the type-approval of vehicles, components and separate technical units concerned by Part I of Annex II.U.K.
1.3.This Annex however does not apply to manufacturers who apply for the [F1GB] type-approval of vehicles produced in [F2medium] series, as referred to in Article 41.U.K.Textual Amendments
