on State Monopolies

1. Article 16 of the Agreement shall be applicable at the latest from 1 January 1995 in the case of the following State monopolies of a commercial character: U.K.

• Austrian monopoly on salt;

• Icelandic monopoly on fertilizers;

• [F1 Swiss and] Liechtenstein [F2 monopoly] on salt and gunpowder.

2. Article 16 shall also apply to wine (HS heading No 22.04). U.K.
