SCHEDULE 16 N.I. MODIFICATIONS OF SCHEDULE 6 TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1972 FOR THE PURPOSES OF ARTICLES 105(4) AND 106(2)

PART II N.I. MODIFICATIONS OF SCHEDULE 6 TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1972 FOR THE PURPOSES OF ARTICLE 106(2)

1.  For any reference to a council or the council or the clerk of the council there shall be substituted a reference to [F1 the Authority] F2 ... or the[F3 chief executive] of [F1 the Authority] respectively. N.I.

2.  For any reference to the Ministry concerned there shall be substituted a reference to the Department. N.I.

3.  For any reference to that Act there shall be substituted a reference to this Order. N.I.

4.  Any references to that Schedule shall be construed as references to that Schedule as modified by this Part. N.I.

5.  For any reference to a matter prescribed by regulations made by the Department of the Environment there shall be substituted a reference to a matter prescribed by regulations made by the Department of Education. N.I.

6.  In paragraphs 2(c) and 5(2) for the words “as may be prescribed” there shall be substituted the words “ as appear to [F1 the Authority] to have an interest in the matter ”. N.I.
