Conciliation procedureN.I.

21.[F1(1)] Industrial tribunal procedure regulations shall include in relation to industrial tribunal proceedings in the case of which any statutory provision makes provision for conciliation—

(a)provisions requiring a copy of the application by which the proceedings are instituted, and a copy of any notice relating to it which is lodged by or on behalf of the person against whom the proceedings are brought, to be sent to the Agency,[F2 and]

(b)provisions securing that the applicant and the person against whom the proceedings are brought are notified that the services of the Agency are available to them,F3. . .

[F2(2) If industrial tribunal procedure regulations include provision postponing the fixing of a time and place for a hearing for the purpose of giving an opportunity for the proceedings to be settled by way of conciliation and withdrawn, they shall also include provision for the parties to proceedings to which the provision for postponement applies to be notified that the services of the Agency may no longer be available to them after the end of the postponement.]
