SCHEDULE 3 CONSEQUENTIAL AMENDMENTS

The Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972 (NI 10)

In Schedule 1 under the heading “Museums” insert the entry—

“Employment by the Board of Trustees of the National Museums and Galleries of Northern Ireland.”.

The Rates (Northern Ireland) Order 1977 (NI 28)

In Schedule 13, insert at the appropriate place the entry—

“The Board of Trustees of the National Museums and Galleries of Northern Ireland.”.

The Historic Monuments and Archaeological Objects (Northern Ireland) Order 1995 (NI 9)

In Article 42—

(a) in paragraphs (2), (3), (4), (5), (6) and (10), for “Director”, wherever that word occurs, substitute “chief executive officer”;

(b) in paragraph (12) for the definition of “the Director” substitute—

““the chief executive officer” means the chief executive officer of the Board of Trustees of the National Museums and Galleries of Northern Ireland;”; and

(c) in paragraph (12) in the definition of “relevant authority” for “Director” substitute “chief executive officer”.

In Schedule 2, insert at the appropriate place the entry—

“The Board of Trustees of the National Museums and Galleries of Northern Ireland.”.
