The Housing Benefit (Decisions and Appeals) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2001

Regulations made by the Department for Social Development and laid before the Assembly under Article 75(2)(a) of the Social Security (Northern Ireland) Order 1998 and section 59 of, and paragraph 20(4) of Schedule 7 to, the Child Support, Pensions and Social Security Act (Northern Ireland) 2000 for approval of the Assembly before the expiration of 6 months from the date of their coming into operation.

The Department for Social Development, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 5(1)(hh) of the Social Security Administration (Northern Ireland) Act 1992(1), Articles 8(6)(a) and 74(3) to (6) of the Social Security (Northern Ireland) Order 1998(2) and section 59 of, and paragraphs 3(1), (4) and (6), 4(3) and (5), 6(2)(c), (4), (7) and (8), 8(7)(c) and (8), 10(1), 12, 13, 14(2), 15, 16(3) and (5), 19(1), 20(1)(b) and (3) and 23(2) of Schedule 7 to, the Child Support, Pensions and Social Security Act (Northern Ireland) 2000(3) and now vested in it(4) and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, with the consent of the Department of Finance and Personnel(5), by this statutory rule, which contains only regulations made by virtue of, or consequential upon, the Child Support, Pensions and Social Security Act (Northern Ireland) 2000, hereby makes the following Regulations:
