PART 2N.I.RESTRICTIONS RELATING TO PREMISES ETC.

[F1Premises and businesses required to closeN.I.

2.(1) Listed premises” and “listed businesses” means the premises and businesses listed in Schedule 1.

(2) A person responsible for listed premises or a listed business must close those premises or cease to operate that business.

(3) Where listed premises or a listed business form part of larger premises or a larger business, the person responsible for those larger premises or business complies with paragraph (1) by closing only the listed premises or listed business.]

[F2Requirements on retail premisesN.I.

3.  A person responsible for a shop–

(a)must carry out a risk assessment which complies with the requirements of regulation 9(5)(a)

(b)must retain the risk assessment referred to in subparagraph (a) on the premises and make it available immediately for inspection by visitors to the premises or to a relevant officer on request; and

(c)must take all reasonable measures to limit the risk of transmission of the coronavirus in accordance with regulation 9(5)(b).]

[F64.(1) This regulation applies to the following premises—

(a)theatres;

(b)concert halls; F7...

(c)indoor venues, other than private dwellings and those set out in subparagraphs (a) and (b), when used for the purpose of a performance, recording or rehearsal [F8; and]

[F9(d)venues used for the purposes of a conference or exhibition.]]

(2) A person responsible for organising or operating an indoor gathering in any venue to which this regulation applies must take reasonable steps to—

[F10(a)ensure that visitors remain in their allocated seating indoors except:

(i)for the purposes of entering or exiting the premises, accessing a table, making a payment, accessing a buffet or carvery, or accessing and using a toilet, baby changing or breast feeding facilities or a smoking area; or

(ii)visit a place where a marriage ceremony or civil partnership ceremony may lawfully take place, for the purposes of viewing the facilities;

(b)prevent the consumption of food or drink (including intoxicating liquor) by visitors indoors on the premises other than by a person seated;

(c)in a venue where intoxicating liquor is sold or provided, permit orders for food or drink (including intoxicating liquor) to be placed only by persons seated;

(d)other than in relation to an event to celebrate a marriage or civil partnership, ensure that the number of persons (not including children aged 12 or under) seated at any one table is no more than six, or no more than ten if those seated at the table comprise a single household;]

(e)carry out a risk assessment which complies with the requirements of regulation 9(5)(a) F11...;

(f)retain the risk assessment referred to in subparagraph (e) on the premises and make it available immediately for inspection by visitors to the premises or to a relevant [F12officer] on request;

[F13(g)prevent dancing by visitors indoors on the premises except at an event to celebrate a wedding or civil partnership;]

(h)limit the risk of transmission of the coronavirus in accordance with regulation 9(5)(b);

(i)comply with the duty in regulation 15 (Visitor and Attendee Information) [F14, or in the case of an indoor gathering which meets the requirements in paragraph (2A), comply with the duty in regulation 15A]; [F15and]
