26.—(1) The Sheep Scab (Scotland) Order 2010 M1 is amended in accordance with this article.
(2) In article 2(1) (interpretation)—
(a)omit the definition of “Divisional Veterinary Manager”; and
(b)insert after the definition of “ affected ”
““authorised veterinary inspector” means a veterinary inspector appointed by the Scottish Ministers to receive information about affected sheep and carcases;”.
(3) In the following provisions, for “the Divisional Veterinary Manager” in each place where those words occur substitute “ an authorised veterinary inspector ”
(a)article 4(1) and (2) (notification of sheep scab or suspected sheep scab);
(b)article 5(5) and (6) (restrictions on the movement of sheep); and
(c)article 6(6) and (7) (service of notice requiring veterinary enquiry).
(4) In article 4(3) (notification of sheep scab or suspected sheep scab), for “the Divisional Veterinary Manager” substitute “ the authorised veterinary inspector ”.
