2.—(1) The Insolvency Act 1986(1) is amended as follows.
(2) In section 51(6) (power to appoint receiver)—
(a)in the definition of “the EU Regulation”(2) for “the Regulation of the Council of the European Union published as Council Regulation (EC) No. 1346/2000” substitute “Regulation (EU) 2015/848 of the European Parliament and of the Council”(3);
(b)in the definition of “court”, for “Article 2(d)” substitute “Article 2(6)”; and
(c)in the definition of “insolvency proceedings” for “Article 2(a)” substitute “Article 2(4)”.
The definition of “the EU Regulation” was inserted by S.S.I. 2011/140.
