13. Where in accordance with Article 34(1)(c)(ii) an official veterinarian, or a person acting under the supervision of an official veterinarian, is required to return the invalidated identification document to the issuing body, the official veterinarian, or the person acting under his or her supervision, must return that document within a period of 30 days, beginning with the day on which the equine animal was slaughtered or killed, together with information about the date on which it was slaughtered or killed.
