The Colleges of Further Education and Regional Strategic Bodies (Membership of Boards) (Scotland) Order 2023

The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 3(5) and 60(3) of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992(1) and section 34(2) and paragraph 18(1) of schedule 2B of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 2005(2) and all other powers enabling them to do so.

In accordance with paragraph 18(2) of schedule 2B of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 2005, they have consulted with the regional board to which this Order relates, and other such persons as they considered appropriate.

In accordance with section 60(2B) of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992(3) and section 34(4)(ca) of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 2005(4), a draft of this instrument has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.
