Transitional Provisions

2.—(1) The provisions of paragraph 29(2) of Schedule 6 to the Welfare of Farmed Animals (England) Regulations 2000(1) as amended by these Regulations shall apply to holdings newly built, rebuilt or brought into use for the first time on or after 1st January 2003, but in the case of all other holdings these provisions shall not apply until 1st January 2005.

(2) The provisions of paragraphs 13, 37, 38 and 39 of Schedule 6 to those Regulations shall apply in relation to all holdings newly built, rebuilt or brought into force for the first time on or after 1st January 2003, but in the case of all other holdings these provisions do not apply until 1st January 2013.
