SCHEDULE 18JOBSEEKER'S ALLOWANCE: APPLICABLE AMOUNTS OF JOINT-CLAIM COUPLES IN SPECIAL CASES

PART IPROVISIONS IN SCHEDULE 5A TO THE JOBSEEKER'S ALLOWANCE REGULATIONS(1) WHICH ARE AMENDED BY THIS ORDER

Patients

1.  A joint-claim couple where one member—

(a)has been a patient for more than 52 weeks;

(b)is a member of a polygamous marriage and another member of that marriage who is not a joint-claimant has been a patient for more than 52 weeks.

1.(a) The applicable amount under regulation 86A reduced by £15.90;

(b)The applicable amount under regulation 86B (polygamous marriages) reduced by £15.90 in respect of each member of the polygamous marriage who is a patient.
