Amendment to the Food Safety Act 1990
7. For section 55 of the Food Safety Act 1990(1), there is substituted—
“Water supply: England and Wales
55. Nothing in Part 2 of this Act or any regulations or order made under that Part shall apply in relation to the supply of water to any premises, whether—
(a)by a water undertaker;
(b)by a licensed water supplier (within the meaning of the Water Industry Act 1991); or
(c)by means of a private supply (within the meaning of Part 3 of that Act).”.
