7In relation to an amalgamation scheme to be approved or made by virtue of section 23 of this Act—
(a)the reference in subsection (4) of section 3 of this Act to a committee of one of the constituent councils shall include a reference to a committee of the council of the new or altered county . . . F1: and
(b)the request required by that subsection shall include the request of each of the following councils, that is to say—
(i)in the case of a new county, the councils of any counties . . . F1 of which the whole or part is to be included in the new county;
(ii) . . . F2
(iii)in the case of an altered county . . . F1 the council of the existing county . . . F1.
