7 Penalty for false information. U.K.

A person who, in connection with any application or request to the [F2 OFT] under this Act, or in response to any invitation or requirement of the [F2 OFT] under this Act, knowingly or recklessly gives information to the [F2 OFT] which, in a material particular, is false or misleading, commits an offence.
