5(1)Subject to sub-paragraph (2) below, Board shall pay to each member or alternate member such remuneration and such travelling, subsistence or other allowances as the Board may determine.
(2)Any determination of the Board with respect to the remuneration to be paid to any member or alternate member shall be subject to the approval of the [F1Treasury], and the [F1Treasury] shall not give [F2their] approval without the consent of the Minister for the Civil Service.
