7 Short title, etc.E+W
(1)This Act may be cited as the Fatal Accidents Act 1976.
(2)This Act shall come into force on 1st September 1976, but shall not apply to any cause of action arising on a death before it comes into force.
(3)This Act shall not extend to Scotland or Northern Ireland.
