Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982, Section 127 is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 04 March 2025. There are changes that may be brought into force at a future date. Changes that have been made appear in the content and are referenced with annotations.
(1)A local authority may enter into agreement with any person for the display of advertisements on or in—
(a)any land, premises or structure vested in or maintained by the authority;
(b)any vehicle owned or operated by the authority.
(2)This section is without prejudice to section 61 of the M1Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1972 (control of advertisements) or to any regulation made under that Act by virtue of that section.
