[F1 199A Functions of the Lord Chancellor U.K.

In this Act, except—

(a) sections 54 and 161 above, and

(b) rules 3(3) and 51(6) of Schedule 1 to this Act,

“the Secretary of State” means the Secretary of State or the Lord Chancellor.]
