140 [F1 Notification of hospitals having arrangements for special cases.] E+W

It shall be the duty of [F2 every Primary Care Trust and of] every [F3 Local Health Board] to give notice to every local social services authority for an area wholly or partly comprised within the [F4 area of the Primary Care Trust or [F3 Local Health Board]] specifying the hospital or hospitals administered by [F5 or otherwise available [F6 Primary Care Trust or][F7 to the [F3 Local Health Board]]] in which arrangements are from time to time in force

[F8 (a) for the reception of patients in cases of special urgency;

(b) for the provision of accommodation or facilities designed so as to be specially suitable for patients who have not attained the age of 18 years.]
