1 U.K. The repeals in the Miscellaneous Transferred Excise Duties Act (Northern Ireland) 1972, the Finance Act 1980 and the Finance Act 1982 have effect from 1st October 1985.

2 U.K. The repeals in the Betting and Gaming Duties Act 1981 do not affect licences granted for periods beginning before 1st October 1985.
