There are currently no known outstanding effects for the Companies Act 1985, Section 116.
Except as provided by section 9 of the Consequential Provisions Act (transitional cases dealt with by section 31 of the M1Companies Act 1980), sections 99, 101 to 103, 106, 108 [F1, 110, 111 and 112 to 115] apply—
(a)to a company which has passed and not revoked a resolution to be re-registered under section 43 as a public company, and
(b)to a joint stock company which has passed, and not revoked, a resolution that the company be a public company,
as those sections apply to a public company.
