2(1)The tribunal shall consist of—E+W+S
(a)a president and two or more chairmen appointed by the Lord Chancellor (referred to below in this Schedule as judicial members); and
(b)two or more other members appointed by the Secretary of State.
[F1(2)The president of the tribunal shall be—
[F2(a)a person who satisfies the judicial-appointment eligibility condition on a 7-year basis; or]
(b)an advocate or solicitor in Scotland of at least [F3 7 ] years’ standing.
(2A)Each chairman shall be—
[F4(a)a person who satisfies the judicial-appointment eligibility condition on a 5-year basis; or]
(b)an advocate or solicitor in Scotland of at least [F5 5 ] years’ standing.]
