The Law of Property Act 1925
12(1)In section 99 of the [1925 c. 20.] Law of Property Act 1925 (which provides for the making by a mortgagee or mortgagor of such leases as are authorised by that section, which shall be binding on the mortgagor or mortgagee), subsection (13), which provides that the section applies only if and so far as the contrary intention is not expressed in the mortgage deed or otherwise in writing and that the section has effect subject to the terms of the mortgage deed or of any such writing, shall continue not to have effect in relation to a mortgage made after 1st March 1948 of agricultural land within the meaning of the [1947 c. 48.] Agriculture Act 1947.
(2)This paragraph shall be construed as one with the said section 99.
