[F194A Driving after refusal or revocation of licence.E+W+S

(1)A person who drives a motor vehicle of any class on a road otherwise than in accordance with a licence authorising him to drive a motor vehicle of that class is guilty of an offence if—

F2(a)at any earlier time the Secretary of State—

(i)has in accordance with section 92(3) of this Act refused to grant such a licence,

(ii)has under [F3section 93] of this Act revoked such a licence, or

(iii)has served notice on that person in pursuance of section 99C(1) or (2) [F4or 109B] of this Act requiring him to deliver to the Secretary of State a Community licence [F5or Northern Ireland licence] authorising him to drive a motor vehicle of that or a corresponding class, and

F2(b)since that earlier time he has not been granted—

(i)a licence under this Part of this Act, or

(ii) a Community licence [F6or Northern Ireland licence],

authorising him to drive a motor vehicle of that or a corresponding class.]

(2)Section 88 of this Act shall apply in relation to subsection (1) above as it applies in relation to section 87.
