3E+W+SAny regulations made under section 16 of the M1Energy Act 1983 which are effective on the day appointed for the coming into force of section 29 of this Act shall have effect as if—
(a)they were made under the said section 29; and
(b)references to an Electricity Board were references to a person authorised by a licence to supply or transmit electricity;
and the provisions of Part I of this Act shall apply accordingly.
